Project overview
A house was given an electrical safety certificate, and an outside socket that had stopped working was fixed during the same visit.
This project was carried out by our partner electrician, G&M Electrics Ltd. We've written it up from what each customer said in their reviews, which are quoted in full below.
Job 1 of 2
What the customer needed
The customers needed an electrical safety certificate for their house. They also had an outside socket that had stopped working some time ago.
What was done
- Carried out the electrical safety inspection and explained everything in detail
- Fixed the outside socket that had stopped working
“Highly recommend Gavin from G&M Electrics. Gavin has just carried out an electrical safety certificate for our house and was excellent from start to finish. He was thoroughly professional, meticulous in his work, and took the time to explain everything clearly and in detail. He also fixed an outside socket that had stopped working some time ago, which was a real bonus. On top of his technical skill, Gavin has a lovely personality — courteous, friendly, and great to chat with. It was a genuine pleasure having him in our home. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and would happily use G&M Electrics again.”

About this type of work
An electrical safety inspection often turns up small faults, such as a dead outdoor socket. Fixing simple faults during the same visit means the certificate reflects a working installation.
