Project overview
A Tesla wall charger was installed once the utility company had dug up the garden to unloop the property’s shared supply, with the install worked around very limited space.
This project was carried out by our partner electrician, G&M Electrics Ltd. We've written it up from what each customer said in their reviews, which are quoted in full below.
Job 1 of 2
What the customer needed
The property’s supply was looped, so the utility company had to dig up the garden and unloop it before the charger could go in. Space for the installation was also limited.
What was done
- Waited for the utility company to unloop the supply
- Returned promptly once the supply work was finished
- Fitted a Tesla wall charger, working around the limited space available
“It has been a pleasure dealing with Gavin and his quality of workmanship is first class. Gavin fitted a Tesla wall charger for us and has done a very professional job. He was patient and accommodating whilst we had to wait for the utility company to dig up our garden and unloop the supply, but arrived promptly afterwards and did an amazing job to work around the limited space available. I would definitely recommend G&M Electrics Ltd and look forward to using them again for any electrical work.”

About this type of work
A looped service, where two properties share one incoming supply cable, often has to be split by the network operator before an EV charger can be added. That work is done by the network operator, not the electrician, so the charger installation is booked once the supply has been separated.
